The milestones of the Flamingo Children’s Hospice:

• May 2022: Approval of the building rights agreement
• October 2022: Planning application for the new building project
• December 2022: Foundation of the Flamingo AG children’s hospice
• April 2023: Receipt of the legally binding building permit
• September 2023: Receipt of the building permit
• December 5th 2023: Ground-breaking ceremony
• December 18, 2023: Zurich Cantonal Council approves the financing of CHF 6 million from the Public Benefit Fund.
• Q1/2024: Excavation work, securing the excavation pit
• Q2/2024: Shell construction basement
• June 27, 2024: Laying of the foundation stone
• Q3/Q4 2024: Shell construction lower floor, upper floors
• 18. December 2024: shell construction ceremony
  
• Q1/2025: Insulation of the façade
• Q1/Q2 2025: Installation of the photovoltaic system
• Q2/2025: Nasszellen/ Plattenarbeiten/ Akustikdecken/ Treppengeländer
• Q3/2025: Floor coverings/ doors/ fixtures/ painting/ lighting
• October 28, 2025: Handover of the construction project
• Q4/2025: Start of operations
• December 15, 2025: Start of personnel onboarding week
• January 06, 2026: First families come to the Flamingo
