Format & atmosphere
The festival has the character of a marketplace – with many opportunities to meet and activities for young and old. Highlights include the symbolic cutting of the flamingo ribbon, the premiere of the flamingo song and a joint celebration of religions and cultures. In the evening, a fantastic charity concert awaits you at the Zwicky-Fabrik!
Flamingo Mile
The heart of the festival is the Flamingo Children’s Hospice. From there, the “Flamingo Mile” leads to the Catholic church and across the Lätten school grounds to the Zwicky factory. Partner organizations are present along this route – with contributions that invite you to join in or treat you to culinary delights. Core time of the Flamingo Mile: 11:00-17:00.
