The Flamingo Children’s Hospice offers up to eight families with a child with a life-limiting illness a special retreat with expert support.

The new building was completed in October 2025. On January 6, 2026, the first guests and their families moved into the bright rooms in the Greifensee recreational area. You can find the construction milestones here!

Our premises

Basement:

Recreation room, Snoezelen (relaxation room with sound and sensory experiences), therapy room

First floor:

Guest room (single room) optionally with parents’ bed, large dining room for shared meals

1st floor:

Family room, Lounge, Playroom, School room, Washing machine/tumbler

2nd floor:

Room of silence & rainbow for farewell arrangements, office space, conference & meeting rooms
